Yes, when the unit goes to self- defrost the dehumidifier will go in to standby. Normal operation will automatically resume when the compressor has def rosted.
Apart from speedy delivery, this is by far the best steam mop I’ve ever used. I couldn’t actually believe how much difference the mop made to my floors… I would not hesitate to recommend.
