This Hyundai 212cc model is similar to the Hyundai model review further down, but it produced more pressure – 3100psi (maximum) instead of 2800psi (max). This means that it can do heavier-duty tasks and take more grime off. Some smaller models of jet wash are much more limited in what you can use them for. Sure, you could buy extra attachments, but having them all to hand here is very useful. It’s the range of add-ons that elevate this from a basic bit of DIY kit to an almost professional jet washer. You can focus the jet on a small enough area to clean off all but the most stubborn bits, but it can still work fast. It’s not a good idea to use this nozzle on your car or motorbike though. It’s a bit too aggressive for that. The pressure of 200 bars is also just short of professional, so you can cover just about any project around the home (and beyond, since it doesn’t require an electricity hookup) that requires a pressure washer.
Overall, this was a disappointing start. It shouldn’t be too much to ask for a proper parts list and a bit better manual for a pressure washer that has so many accessories and a whole lot of potential. Unless you’re already familiar with pressure washers, it could take you a while to get to work. Rubber bumpers placed between the engine and frame have been used to reduce the vibrations that are an inevitable part of using a petrol pressure washer, but of course they can only do so much and the machine will still shake when it’s being used. Portability is easy thanks to the Core 140's light weight (only 8.6kg) and the fact that it has a raised grab bar handle and built-in wheels. In the pantheon of pressure washers, it’s actually rather attractive looking, too. Sometimes on petrol pressure washers, the wheels are undersized and make it hard to roll the heavy units across the garden, but I was happy to see that Wilks have thought that through properly and fitted large 12 inch wheels to their TX750i. The wheels, like the rest of the tool are strong and robust.Besides the higher power of a petrol washer, this category is where they stand out. A petrol pressure washer is more durable than an electric. A petrol washer is made with more metal parts and higher-grade materials than electric in general. With proper maintenance, you can expect to get many years more from a petrol washer than electric. For now though I still prefer this pressure washer with the Wilks brand on it as I know their customer services are UK based and they’ll reasonably help if there’s a problem with your machine. I know from experience, I called them to help me with why I couldn’t get the unit started (embarrassingly I didn’t read the instructions properly :D)
The maximum power you can expect to get from an electric pressure washer is 180 bars. Which is more powerful than most home clean up projects would likely require. Typically an electric washer comes in around 110 bars. Again, this will suffice for most jobs around the house. Although they’re not as well known as the other big yellow pressure washer brand, Wilks USA have an impressive range of electric and petrol powered pressure washers. They make them for DIYers as well as professional users, so they should know their stuff. It looks like Waspper are trying hard (and doing a good job) to make a name for themselves as reliable and durable, but Briggs & Stratton did that a long time ago.

Most of the petrol-based cleaning tools are durable. Still, you need to make sure that you are buying something that can last for long. Choosing stainless steel or metal built is beneficial. To give you an idea, my dad’s Wilks TX750i pressure washer above has a pressure rating of 220 Bar, that’s working with consistent pressure, not the max pressure. My Karcher K5 electric pressure washer, a high spec model in the electric pressure washer world, only produces 145 bar, thats 75 bar less. With petrol, you also have the advantage of no power cords. Then you have the increased versatility that most petrol models have thanks to the 4 or 5 different nozzles, including blasting, stripping, cleaning, washing and often detergent application nozzles. The Briggs & Stratton ELITE 3200Q Petrol Pressure Washer comes from a company that’s world-renowned for making high-quality products, especially engines. The motor in this pressure washer is a 190cc engine from the respected 875Exi series. This produces a maximum water pressure of 3,190psi which falls in the mid-range of the pressure washers in my review.
