Directions Poppy red is a bright pink-red (no fading to orange after a week of washing) which actually looks brighter in real life than it does in the photo (excuse boyfriend). Directions produce brilliant dyes, but in some rare cases it can go horribly wrong if the dye is not applied correctly! So for best results we always recommend doing both a strand test (to make sure you're going to like the finished colour) and a sensitivity test (to make sure you're not allergic to the ingredients) before using any of the hair colour/bleaching products.
